Format

  • Classes are eight weeks in length and meet twice per week (sixteen total sessions).
  • 45-minutes in length with group sizes of 4 — 16 people.
  • Led by certified personal trainers who provide modifications and variable intensity options depending on participants' physical abilities.

Optional Assessments

Each participant is provided 1 free body composition test (Bod Pod) to be used at any point in time throughout the program.  These will be facilitated by the class instructor after the classes have commenced.

NOTE: RecWell will be submitting the purchase information to RedBrick/VirginPulse for participants to receive their points.

Cross Training Express

Cross Training Express

Cross Training Express is designed to improve mobility, stability, endurance, and muscular strength. You should have good mobility and an intermediate exercise level before participating in this class. A typical class session would consist of the following phases:

  • 5-10 minutes dynamic warm-up.
  • 25-35 minutes of training session using various equipment and body weight.
  • 5-10 minutes of core conditioning and flexibility training.

 

Group Strength Express

Group Strength Express

Designed to increase muscle strength, enhance cardiovascular fitness, and teach the basics of a balanced exercise program. A typical class session would consist of the following phases: 

  • 20-25 minutes of strength machine and cardiovascular interval training.
  • 20-25 minutes focusing on full-body strength and endurance, core training and flexibility.

Heart Rate Express

Heart Rate Express

Heart Rate Express is designed to increase cardiovascular fitness levels as well as core and abdominal strength. All ability levels are welcomed as treadmill training protocols can easily be modified for walkers, joggers, and runners. A typical class session would consist of the following phases:

  • 30-35 minutes of treadmill-based or cycling-based training. Participants will be challenged through speed and incline intervals.
  • 10-15 minutes of core/abdominal strengthening and overall flexibility.

Kettlebell Express

Kettlebell Express

Designed to improve muscular strength and power through exercises such as squats and swings. You should have good mobility and a general exercise foundation. A typical class session would consist of the following phases:

  • 5-10 minutes dynamic warm up.
  • 25-35 minutes of training session using kettlebells as the primary modality.
  • 5-10 minutes of core conditioning and flexibility training.

8-Week Fitness Medley

8-Week Fitness Medley

8 Week Fitness Medley is a class designed to teach multiple fitness formats. This is a great class for anyone interested in exploring several types of fitness programming (Kettlebells, Cross Training, strength training, HIIT, etc). The instructor will design the class format to fit the experience of the participants.

Mat Pilates Express

Mat Pilates Express

Mat Pilates is a way to stretch and strengthen your body, primarily the muscles of the core, which span from your hips to your shoulders. Mat Pilates borrows from disciplines such as dance, yoga and classic calisthenics.
