CPR / First Aid Training

CPR / First Aid Training

CPR and First Aid training is required for all RecWell employees. All classes last up to four hours and cover Adult and Child CPR/SFA.

Classes are offered every month, and the calendar will be updated by the close of the current month for next month.

Please inquire about registering for a certification course at least 5 days in advance. A reply will be sent back within 48 hours.

Occupational Health and Safety has developed two new online bloodborne pathogen training courses for University students and employees.

GFit instructor training is a 6-week training program designed to give students the required knowledge and skill sets to help pass the American Council on Exercise (ACE) Group Fitness Instructor Exam and safely and effectively lead the following group fitness classes at University Recreation and Wellness:

  • HIIT
  • HardCORE
  • Total Body Strength
  • Aqua Strength
  • Bootcamp

Personal Training Instructor Program

Personal Training Instructor Program

The ACE (American Council on Exercise) Personal Trainer Exam Review program is designed to help students prepare for the ACE Personal Trainer Certification Exam. Based on the ACE Personal Trainer Manual, this program will help students master the necessary information and theories of exercise science for personal training.
