Check out the Esports Lab in the North building at the Recreation and Wellness Center! The Esports Lab features gaming with PCs, console systems, peripherals, and games.
The Esports Lab is open to anyone with RecWell membership during Open Play!
The Setup
20 PC stations (Intel Core Ultra 7, RTX 5070, 32GB RAM) + Nintendo Switch, Xbox, PlayStation, Retro consoles and more.
The Games
Valorant, League of Legends, CS2, Rocket League, Apex, Overwatch, Fortnite, Mario Kart 8, Smash Bros., sport titles and more of your favorite titles. New games are always being added, view which games and software are currently supported.

Policies

Games + Software
Titles are always changing, view which games and software are currently supported.
Use the link above and the Device Map to locate the devices that support the games you want to play.
See the Policies drop-down menu for allowed games/software and usage policies.
Submit requests for additional games/software by speaking with a staff member or emailing [email protected].

The Esports Lab is fully equipped for gaming with PCs, console systems, peripherals, and games.

The use of certain personal peripherals is permitted, provided they comply with policy. See the Policies drop-down menu for personal peripherals usage policies.
Location
The Esports Lab is located in the lower level of the North building at the Recreation and Wellness Center, Minneapolis (Room 19).
Directions upon entering the RecWell:
- Head to the second floor and turn left off the stairs or elevator, continuing toward the North Building.
- Cross the connecting skyway that will be on your right into the North Building, then take the elevator or stairs down to the basement.
- Once in the basement, pass the North Equipment Room desk - the Esports Lab will be on your right (Room 19).
