Tri U Mah


Tri-U-Mah registration opens November 27, 2024! The event will take place on Saturday, Feb 3, 2024 and Sunday, Feb 4, 2024. 

Tri-U-Mah will be held in-person this year, and participants will compete at the Minneapolis RecWell Center to achieve their furthest distances in:

  • 30 minutes of swimming
  • 30 minutes indoor cycling
  • 30 minutes treadmill running

Join us in the Natatorium for this FREE event to paddle board in the pool! No equipment needed, just wear a swimsuit. Adult swim jackets will be available. This event is first come first serve. Free snacks provided!

Small World Coffee Hour

Get to know more students on campus through free food, games, and activities at RecWell! This event is free, with no sign-up required. It takes place every other Friday from 4-6pm, 2nd floor of RecWell, Beacon Room.

Sign Up for a Self-Defense Workshop

Self-defense workshops are presented by RecWell and the Department of Public Safety. They are a great way to learn practical strategies to get yourself out of potentially dangerous situations and to practice easy self-defense techniques.

UMN Faculty Staff Days @ RecWell

On the third Thursday of each month, UMN Faculty and Staff can access all RecWell facilities for free, no membership required. Access also includes free open climbing (MPLS only), free Group Fitness classes, and a free daily locker. Visit the Member Service Desk at University Recreation and Wellness Center or St. Paul Gym when checking in to access free day offerings.
