Relax with Massage Therapy this season!

Massage Therapy is offered at RecWell Tuesday-Saturday. Choose between 2 options of Shiatsu or relaxation massages. Take advantage of these offerings to positively increase your mental and physical wellbeing during these winter months. Gift cards are also available for purchase to give the gift of relaxation to others. *Massage Therapy is accessible to all and does not require a RecWell membership.

Tri U Mah

Tri U Mah

We are excited to hold our annual indoor triathlon, Tri U Mah, Saturday, February 15 and Sunday, February 16, 2025! Participants will compete at the Minneapolis RecWell Center to achieve their furthest distances in: 30 minutes of swimming, 30 minutes indoor cycling, and 30 minutes treadmill running. Stand Up Paddle Boarding

Enjoy stand up paddle boarding at the RecWell. First come, first serve. Paddle, snack, and mingle. Have fun in the Natatorium getting to paddle board in the pool through the year with upcoming date being 2/9/25 from 1:30 to 3:00PM.

UMN Faculty Staff Days @ RecWell

On the third Thursday of each month, UMN Faculty and Staff can access all RecWell facilities for free, no membership required. Access also includes free open climbing (MPLS only), free Group Fitness classes, and a free daily locker. Visit the Member Service Desk at University Recreation and Wellness Center or St. Paul Gym when checking in to access free day offerings.

Self Defense Workshop

UMPD Self Defense Workshops

Self Defense workshops are conducted by the University of MN Police Department. These workshops cover personal safety awareness and how to stay vigilant. Participants are shown simple self-defense moves and are given a chance to practice their new learned skills. Class will include: Learning practical strategies to get yourself out of potentially dangerous situations, Practicing easy self-defense techniques, Question and answer session, Safety tips including awareness, staying vigilant, and keeping safe.
