Description

Restorative Yoga is a class focused on healing and relaxation. Come to class to unwind before or after a long day of work and class. Holding poses for a longer duration, along with the use of breath and support of props allows participants to bring deep relaxation to the physical, mental and emotional body.

Barre is an upbeat hybrid-workout class that involves elements of ballet, pilates, yoga, and strength training. This class is meant to elongate and strengthen your body, creating toned muscles.

Description

Body Pump™ is a barbell workout for anyone looking to get lean and fit – fast. Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition, Body Pump gives you a total body workout. Instructors will coach you through the scientifically proven moves and techniques pumping out encouragement, motivation, and results all to the beat of your favorite songs!

This functional strength training workout will target all the major muscle groups, especially the core.   The strength workout is followed with a full body stretch that will leave all of your muscles feeling strong and flexible!

Description

In this efficient TRX+ class, you will enjoy a fun, strength-based workout using the TRX suspension straps.

In just 30 minutes, TRX+ will target your body's major and minor muscle groups. TRX+ utilizes the resistance straps for majority of the strength training, while also including floor and mat exercises.

Description

This rhythm based cycle class would be a 45 minute ride along to the beat of the music. Differing from a power based cycle class, participants' cadence would match the tempo of the music as intensity levels shift from one song to the next. Unlike the traditional cycle class currently taught at RecWell, this class could feature an upper body workout utilizing the different positioning and movements a cycle bike offers.
