Description

Small Group Training is a twice-weekly, organized group training session, engaging 6-12 participants in intentional training design, access to small group coaching and technique development with a professional, and building community with other members of the Small Group.

Cardio Strength Circuit

This 6-week class will take your fitness to the next level! We will combine cardio work with strength training throughout the entire workout. While keeping your Heart Rate in your target HR Zone, we will also focus on resistance training to strengthen and tone all of your major and minor muscle groups. This class meets two days a week and is led by a certified personal trainer.

Be prepared to work hard and see some positive results in the process.  

Boxing & Barbells

This 6-week boxing class will introduce you to the B & B Method of boxing.  The B&B Method is not only Boxing & Barbells, it is also a method of teaching authentic boxing to the fitness enthusiast in the most efficient way.  This class meets twice a week and is led by certified B & B Method trainers. Class sessions are held on the 3rd floor, near the track, at the Boxing Rig.  Each participant will have their own punching bag to use in class. Gloves and wraps can be purchased separately.

Women & Weights

This 6-week program aims to assist women in increasing their strength, teaching how to use various equipment, and developing confidence in themselves as strong, powerful women. This class meets two days a week and is led by a certified female personal trainer so that you get as much attention as needed.

Learn to Lift

The 6-week program is not about numbers on a scale, it’s all about helping you embrace a healthier lifestyle. We will focus on supporting self-sufficiency by providing you with 2-days/week instruction from a certified personal trainer. This "new exerciser" program is intended to jump start your fitness by providing both accountability and freedom for you to start and remain physically active.

Trans & Queer Strength Group

This once weekly program aims to support trans, nonbinary, and gender-nonconforming folks as they plan and work towards their strength training goals. In this group, gendered assumptions are dismantled and the focus is to affirm individuals in any stage of their transition. This group is led by a certified queer personal trainer and a member of the GSC staff will often be present to ensure that members feel safe and supported!

Cis queer community members are also welcome to sign-up for this group, but the uplift of trans and nonbinary students is the priority. Since this group meets one time per week, the registration is $35 per session for students.
