Triathlon Swim Clinics
Triathlon Swim Clinics
Do you want to work on your stroke technique to assist in your next triathlon race? Here is an opportunity to do just that with aquatics staff from Gopher Swim School.
We offer clinics that are between 60 and 75 minutes organized in a three-week course, with each progressive week focused on a new area of your swimming technique. Clinic 1 (60 minutes) focuses on the fundamental motion of freestyle, primarily working with drills that emphasize a hip-driven movement and strong core engagement. Clinic 2 (60 minutes) moves on to stroke technique with the central focus on catch, recovery, and entry. Clinic 3 (75 minutes) concludes the course progression with instruction on triathlon-specific swimming techniques such as sighting alongside a brief review of drills practiced in clinics 1 and 2.
Clinics will be spent working with 1-2 instructors and provide drill instruction that you can apply beyond our clinics to your independent training.
All swimmers must be able to swim 100 yards continuously.
Cost and Registration
Clinics may be purchased individually or in a set of three to cover the total progression. Clinic progressions are offered every month with instruction beginning anew at the start of each month.
- Individual clinics are offered at $40 per clinic
